Who is the security behind Dawes Motor Insurance ?

Calliden Insurance Limited is the underwriter of Dawes Motor Insurance. Calliden Insurance Limited is an Australian based APRA regulated insurer and also holds an AFS License. Calliden Insurance Limited is a subsidiary of Calliden Group Limited which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

What kind of vehicles do you insure ?

We offer highly specialised car insurance for high value and prestige vehicles, bikes and specialised vehicles including unusual vehicles such as stretch limousines(including hummers), any custom built cars, dual control driving instructor vehicles, film set vehicles (not stunt cars), race cars off track (storage and transit cover) and other unusual vehicles. In fact, we have been known to insure the odd ex-army personnel carrier or two.

Unusual requests to insure High Value Vehicles, Race Cars or Military Vehicles will also be considered.

Drag Racing, Rally and Race Cars may also be covered, except whilst practicing, competing or used on a race track or course for any purpose. The policy we issue for Race Cars will cover the vehicle in; storage, during transit and whilst away from its home base, except when driven under its own power.

• Your clients can also choose their own repairer or we're happy to recommend a specialist repairer.

How do I place risks with you ?

You can complete an online quotation request and we will get back to you very quickly with terms. Alternatively you can complete one of our quote request sheets and fax it to us on 1300 807 462. If you are an insurance intermediary we haven't dealt with before we will request that you complete one of our broker agreements.
